Hi John
As you know at the moment I have my Cds on my hard drive and stream through the Microrendu to your Ciunas ISO Dac . It sounds fantastic and I’m very happy with the setup.
Sometimes when the boys have their friends around they want to put on a cd . I could buy a Sugden one to go with the A21 amp but the sound wont match the Ciunas. Is it possible to buy a transport and route it through the Ciunas to maximise the sound quality ?
Many thanks
Tony
Hi Tony
Glad your enjoying the ISO-DAC
I focus for the moment on USB as the communication channel for my audio devices as I found it best sounding (once it was attended to correctly) compared to other channels.
There are some transports which rip a CD automatically to their internal hard drive when CD inserted but they tend to be expensive & I'm not sure how one of these would fit into your current setup?
Tell your son that his friends are not on point - CDs are so last year :) - they need to have their music on USB sticks which could then be plugged in directly to the ISO-DAC & played straight away. You will need 5V power on the USB port to power a USB stick - the diagram for how to inject 5V into the USB ports is on the forum.
Thanks John , appreciate that .
